Schafer Gear Appoints Robert Doshi As Operations Manager

Schafer Gear has appointed Robert Doshi as operations manager of its South Bend production facility. In this role, Doshi’s primary responsibility will be to monitor and improve operations in the following areas: production, quality, material flow, customer relations and human resources. Previously, Doshi had been Schafer’s production manager.
Prior to joining Shafer Gear, Doshi was employed by Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. Doshi was also a soldier in the United States Army. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Doshi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
In making the announcement, Schafer executive vice president, Stan Blenke, said, “Robert Doshi’s experience and knowledge of our internal systems make him ideal for these new responsibilities. He can help take our company to a new level as we ramp up for our projected growth over the next two years.”
